Cyclists passing through Connecticut, on their way to New York City, Montreal, or points in between, will be able to navigate with green and white USBR 7 signs.

Adventure Cycling Association is proud to announce the designation of two new U.S. Bicycle Routes in Arkansas and Tennessee. Authorities also approved the realignment and extension of additional routes in Minnesota, New York and Ohio. These new routes add almost 425 miles to the U.S. Bicycle Route System, bringing it to nearly 19,000 miles in total!

Adventure Cycling Association is proud to announce the designation of three new U.S. Bicycle Routes in Oklahoma, Minnesota, and Delaware, and the realignment and extension of additional routes through Indiana and Michigan, adding more than 650 miles to the U.S. Bicycle Route System taking it over 18,000 miles!

Adventure Cycling Association is proud to announce the designation of U.S. Bicycle Route 1 in Maryland and the realignment of routes through Florida, Michigan and Ohio, adding nearly 150 miles to the U.S. Bicycle Route System and improving connectivity and the cycling experience. 

Bike Your Park Day 2021 was great!

Big news for the U.S. Bicycle Route System. We're happy to announce the 2021 Spring U.S. Bicycle Route designations! These 18 new routes and two realignments add 2,903 miles to the growing USBRS bringing the total miles in the network to 17,734.

We're so lucky to have Ambassador Roxy Robles (she/her) presenting "An Introduction to Bike Touring!" Learn more about Roxy's experiences, donkeys, the best snacks on the road (salty, please!), and her controversial shoulder season take. 

Over 5,000 people went on more than 700 bike overnights during the first weekend in June for Bike Travel Weekend. Rides were planned in all 50 U. S. states, six Canadian provinces, and 15 countries across the globe. “It was my first time camping and my first time bike traveling,” said Bike Travel Weekend participant Whitney Theis.
