Definitely different type of wash cloth. Body wash runs right thru so need to soap up a bit more. Seems to do the job well. Drys quick does hold odors. Lighter than normal wash cloth.

I've had these washcloths for a few years and love them. They are great for exfoliating and easy care, just rinse them and hang to dry. They dry quickly and are compact for travel. One warning they won't work for those with sensitive skin as they are a bit rough and tough.

I took this on a 6-month cycle tour and it was perfect for scrubbing off grime, sweat, sunblock, etc. It was also the prefect exfoliant while on tour. At home, this is too rough for everyday use as I don't have as much to scrub off. Still, I keep one in my shower at home, one in my business-trip suitcase, and I'm buying a new one for my next tour! Note that as another reviewed stated, it is nylon, so it doesn't absorb water like a traditional washcloth. But it dries so quickly that it's perfect for travel!

This definitely is NOT a cloth, does not absorb water since it is nylon netting. Very disappointing. I am embarrassed that I gave 3 of my 5 pack to friends for their trip to Europe. I use mine to scrub the dishes.
