Don't let cold wet feet ruin your outdoor fun!  Showers Pass developed Crosspoint Waterproof Socks to solve the soggy toe problem and to keep your feet dry while cycling, running, hiking, any outdoor activity in the rain. These socks are fully waterproof thanks to 3-layers: a wear resistant knit exterior (feels like a regular sock), a waterproof breathable Artex membrane, and a Coolmax FX moisture wicking anti-bacteria lining.  The result is a sock that feels like a sock but protects like a rain bootie.  Now you don't have to choose between keeping your feet dry and breathability (we don't like sweaty feet either). Black/ Grey

Not dry, but at least not cold

After reading about these and really wanting them to work, I gave them a try. At the end of my rainy ride if felt like I had water sloshing around in my shoes. My feet were definitely wet, and I had about a tablespoon of water come out when I took off my socks (and about 1/8th of a cup each when I squeezed the whole sock), but the difference was my feet weren’t cold. Usually I’d wear thicker wool socks that get sopping wet and then cold. My feet were wet, but just fine. They do take a long time to dry. I’ll use them on the really wet days, and will try them on cold days for the insulation this winter as well.

Performs great but super slow to dry out when completely saturated.

Tried these out in our rainy PNW spring weather and was impressed with how dry and warm my feet stayed. I typically have cold feet when riding and these worked out great. I expected my feet to still get wet from sweat after a 40 mile ride in low 40 degree with light rain but they stayed dry and warm. My one and I consider a big problem is how long it takes for them to dry after washing them. I hang dry all my cycling clothes indoors and normally everything is dry by the next day. These socks however where still throughly wet on the inside after 24 hours. I had to turn them inside out to get them completely dry. This to me is a major inconvenience.

PS--Fit Perfectly

These socks are true to size and the M/L fit my women's size 11 or Euro, size 43 perfectly. They were tight over my narrow feet. Men might want to go to the larger size.

Kept my feet dry

I took these socks on a bike overnight and woke up to pitter patter on my tent. The socks kept my feet dry through intermittent rain, sleet and the season's first snow. Rain booties would be easier to put on in a storm, but they always have bare spots on the bottom of your shoes. These socks offer full coverage, are water proof and don't leave you with clammy feet at the end of the day. The only reason I don't rate them a 5, is that I expected socks so thick would be warmer.
