Although 6'3" on a good day, I went with the mediums and a pair of North 45 socks while riding the GDMBR this summer. Worked well. No problems with the sun. If insect repellant was needed, I applied it to the sunblockers instead of large quantities of skin.

I followed the measurement guide and the large size would not stay up. I switched to medium and they stayed up the first ride of 1 1/2 hours, but the right leg protector fell down twice on the second ride of the same length.

I wear some kind of sun protectors on my legs every time I ride, which is 3-5 times per week about 90 minutes each time. I've been using another name brand, but wanted to try something new because the other brand will sometimes sag. After about 5-10 uses, these seem to have better grip and seem to be better made even though the price is about the same. The real test is what they are like in six months. We shall see.

I used these on over half of my 4,230 mile Trans Am ride this 2019. Great quality. They did their job. Not too hot. No problems. Still good to go.

I have had trouble keeping the leg protectors from sagging during my rides, but will give it another try soon with another pair of biking shorts.
