Catharine Hornby is a niece, sister, daughter, wife, stepmother, and cyclist. She enjoys photographing birds but is not very good at it. Professionally, her interests are in complex systems. She currently serves as a senior budget official for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband, Bruce, and continues her cycling adventures with her brother, Robert, most recently riding from Calais, Maine, to Newburyport, Massachusetts in late August 2021.
