I ordered a large (36-38) and both the liner and outer short fit fine. After washing, the liner was snug but wearable, and the outer short was tight around the waist. Now full disclosure: I am at the top end of large...a true 38. If you are a 36-37, these should fit ok. I wear this insert and two others at Spin class with a regular gym short that has an elastic waist. Once spring rolls around and I can ride outside more, the waist goes down and the outer shell will probably fit.

The shorts are comfortable with their own liner or other base layers. The price is reasonable. I agree that pockets are small but I have big rear pockets on my shirt so I have all I need when I am on or off the bike. When I ride my recumbent bike things beat on my legs so I move them to my panniers anyway.

Good and comfortable. Inner part with the padding is a little flimsily attached to the outer by just 2 little loops, but you can figure it out. Sizing runs a little on the small side. Pockets small, but these aren’t cargo shorts.

The Chamois fits comfortable. Lots of Quality padding. The Overshort is light and Airy.

The shorts fit well and are comfortable. I wish that this kind of bicycle shorts would come with pockets, but they are otherwise highly satisfactory in form & function.
