Although it's UNISEX sizing the XS fit me well as I'm usually a S/size 6 female. The hood is a bit big but the fabric is perfect for a light layering when fleece is too much or an extra layering under a fleece. It offers some wind resistance but is mainly for cool down after a ride or workout.

This is just what I need to stay out of the sun on long rides. It’s the only hoodie I’ve used and it’s great to cover my neck and ears. I only wish it had a partial zip front to get a breeze on the chest.

I'm in my tent writing this review on the Katy Trail in Missouri and on the cool Missouri mornings I've paired my thin ultralight top quilt with my sun hoodie for extremely comfortable nights. Don't get caught up in the name and think it's day use only. I love good multi use gear!

I love this sun shirt, and am proud to support Adventure Cycling. It fits well, loose & comfortable, and does a great job to protect me from the sun. I've used it for cycling and also a 5-day backpacking trip. It got filthy on the backpacking trip and I wasn't able to get all the dirt stains out, but I suppose that goes with the territory when you buy a light-colored shirt for dirty outdoor adventures.
