I have ordered a new pair of these gloves every year since 2018. I get about 5,000 kms out of one pair, each year, before they fall apart from overuse. I love them. I hope they will always be in stock until the day I die!

Leather palms, breathable backs, terry cloth to wipe your nose. Foam padding is perfectly fine and more durable than the gel inserts many brands use. Use 'em til they fall apart, then get another pair!

I bought these to have a backup pair but they have now become my favorite that I wear on almost every ride, especially the long weekend rides. The mesh is perfect for hot rides and has the perfect amount of padding. Just make sure you put sunblock on your hands because you will get a checkerboard design through the mesh!!

After having bought and worn out many pairs of expensive gloves, I was looking for a more durable, better padded bike glove. I was pleasantly surprised to find that combination in the Taurus bike gloves. Not only were they better made, thicker, better padded, they were less expensive. I bought two pairs as insurance for the future. I have been wearing one pair now for a month and am well satisfied. Now I know where to shop.

The brand I've been using for years seems to have lost its ability to turn out a good durable product, so I thought to give the Taurus glove a chance.
Well folks, worth the price of admission, so to speak. I buy my gloves a full size larger. These still seem a bit tight but since I ride a recumbent my needs are not for a cushion but for a cover against the weather.
They even look classy.

I have used the gloves for most of the summer and on a 5 day tour. The construction is very good, better than most of the gloves of this type I have used over my years of cycling. The padding is adequate, foam type, but was hoping it to be better. On long days of cycling my hands need more cushioning than these provide. Overall, a very good glove, my shorter rides and would recommend it highly for this purpose. However, on long rides and tours, I would want a glove with gel.

I have been very happy with this glove. I am on my second pair in 12,000 KMS. My only problem is learning how to wash them so that they do not smell so quickly? After two rides, the leather enters into smell zone.

I like the mesh back and the amount of padding and the only addition I would appreciate is those little loops on the ends of the fingers that some glovers have that make it easier to get them off.

Excellent gloves. It is hard to locate this type of glove with the woven back. Much more comfortable than the synthetic gloves.

I ordered a size large and they fit a "little snug". I wore them for the first time on the Mickelson Trail in the Black Hills SD. While there I went into an outdoor fitter/clothing/camping store and found the same gloves. Tried on a size XL and they were a little too big. I did notice they were $2.00 less at the store than what I paid from Adventure Cycling catalog.

Easy to order--delivered early--durable solid product--same that I used when I rode 4,200 miles on the Transamerica Bicycle Trail 40 years ago!
OK but not too durable

Per size chart ordered medium. They fit too tight and gloves fell apart way too soon due to too much stress when trying to remove. Ordered large the next time. They fit better and will hopefully last longer.

These gloves are awesome! I bought two pairs for my Trans Am, 4,230 mile trip, and I only needed ONE! I have gone over 5,000 miles now with the first pair. I just had to sew a small tear in them last week but they endure to the end! They are great quality. I think these are the same ones I used in the 70's. I only have to wash them and add just a drip of bleach and hang in the sun to dry to keep them smelling okay and they are good to go. After a heavy rain or massive sweating, you will need to ring them out and dry in the sun. Simple as that.

A good, heavyweight, sturdy glove. Well padded in just the right places, protects against numbness while riding and saves your hands when you hit the dirt. (Yes, it's true; there's more than one way to spend time "out of the saddle." You call it "clumsy," I call it "adventurous." Tomato, tomahto.) We finally get a glove with a good-sized patch of velcro. The knit back is quite comfortable. Good glove for knockin' around in.
