I bought these looking for a lightweight waterproof sock for an upcoming cross country bike tour. I was replacing an old pair of REI goretex oversocks. I have generally been pleased with Showers Pass products, but these docks are not particularly lightweight. In fact, I see them as heavier weighted than my regular wool socks. And they’re snug. They are thick enough that they make my cycling shoes quite snug on my feet. It remains to be seen if I’ll even use them on the bike trip.

Size up!!! They are tight, like compression socks. Haven't used them yet, they feel good are taller than and about the same thickness as my Dexshells. I like them because they are taller.

I wear a men's size 9 (Euro 43) shoe and the M/L should fit but they are extremely snug. I also bought a pair of L/XL and even they are rather tight. Go up at least one size when buying these. Otherwise they are comfortable and warm.

Just like the traditional sp waterproof socks incept half as thick, lighter and feels like an everyday smartwool sock but waterproof. I used it on a 3 day bikepacking/ hiking trip and feet stayed dry.
