GPX Data products consist of track and service waypoint files in gpx (GPS Exchange Format) file format to be used on a GPS device, smartphone, or tablet. These products are suggested as a companion product to the printed Adventure Cycling Route maps and feature the same services listed on the physical maps. Section 2 of the TransAm takes you over 5,324-foot elevation McKenzie Pass in the Cascades and through the gold country of central Oregon. If McKenzie Pass is closed due to lingering snow, an alternate is shown over the lower Santiam Pass. The John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is located near the route.
