You will encounter a big change in this section because the route traverses the city of Cleveland and its suburbs, so cyclists should have some familiarity with urban riding. Once you reach Lake Erie the route passes through many interesting cultural, historic, and scenic features, and you are encouraged to research the route beforehand to maximize your enjoyment. The route in Ohio generally uses either secondary highways or county roads with the exception of Cleveland and its suburbs where you'll use city streets or bikepaths. East of Cleveland, you'll ride along Lake Erie for quite a distance until reaching Orchard Park, New York.

Sandusky, OH to Orchard Park, NY

We utilized the Lake Erie Connector, and dropped into this section at Sandusky. The section from Sandusky to near Avon Lake was challenging, with urban riding and congestion. From the east side of Cleveland to Orchard Park was very enjoyable, along the great lake of Erie. There is a spot, just outside of Orchard Park, where you come to a lookout on Buffalo and Fort Erie that is just stunning. Navigating through Erie, PA is very difficult, as the signage for bike route Z is confusing, and the ACA route follows this route. Navigating from Orchard Park through Buffalo (map 10) is VERY difficult, with many parts that just weren't safe for bicyclists. It looks like a lot of changes have occurred within Buffalo over the past few years, and it might be worth looking at this section to find an alternate route.

Solid map, but layout leaves room for improvement.

This map is great for my upcoming trip to Buffalo. The only thing I would to do improve it would be to make it waterproof, and to make the brochure a bit less cluttered. Overall though, great tool.
