After your GPX purchase, you can get GPX updates for free by re-downloading them from your My Adventure Cycling account.
GPX Data products consist of track and service waypoint files in gpx (GPS Exchange Format) file format to be used on a GPS device, smartphone, or tablet. These products are suggested as a companion product to the printed Adventure Cycling Route maps and feature the same services listed on the physical maps. This route compilation includes maps sections of the Northern Tier, the North Lakes and the Lake Erie Connector routes. The entire mileage from coast to coast is almost the same as the Northern Tier routing - the only way to shorten the distance by 215 miles is to use the Manitowoc Alternate crossing Lake Michigan.

Great business, whenever I go to the USA I use their maps. Right now I discovered the new app to navigate my route. Already looking forward to start my trip in July!
