i would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in riding the divide. i was supposed to do a 2020 thru ride but COVID 19 happened—so now it’s 2021. great to have beforehand for logistical planning, great to have on Route in case the cycling computer dies. just overall a great purchase, worth every cent.

The map and book set were excellent. You will need to carry additional maps for the inevitable times you have to detour as these are narrowly focused on the route. I rode the US portion of the route in 2018. Beyond Epic. If you like riding in wild places this is the route. I only got lost twice, both times in heavy rain, head down, missing a turn. I plan on doing the whole thing again someday. Low gears, fat tires and TENACITY will get you there.

I've cycled a number of long distance routes but the information you can get from this book and set of maps is better than many other well documented routes you can find. You are also sent a list of map updates which I'm sure will prove invaluable on the trail.

Bought this set in anticipation for riding the GDR in the summer of 2018 with my wife. Book is a great resource and informative to read with helpful suggestions for riding distances and stopping/re-supply locations . The maps look very detailed and are easy to read. Cant wait for summer 2018.
