Visibility is very important. This safety triangle help you to be seen by motorists with omnidirectional reflection, and features the Adventure Cycling Association logo.

I think the news and media need to do PSA on Bicycles rights on the roadways and for the motorist to fully understand how to react with us to keep all parties safe.

I got two of these to put on the back of my bikes. I already had one that i strap to the back of my bikepacking seat bag that is perfect. These are twice the size of the Aardvark brand that I have now. The Aardvark brand also has a couple of velcro tabs to hang from your seat. When the Aardvark brand are hung from the seat they sometimes rub the back tire, so there is no way I can hang these Jogalite back there and when I strap them to my seat bag they are way too big and just wrap around all sides, so more visible from the sides and less from the back than the Aardvarks. The Jogalite come with a belt that I guess you are supposed to wear around your waist? I cannot see how the belt would allow me to attach it to my bike. So, the quality of the Jogalite seems good enough, but the usability is sub par.

I have used a different brand for years on my recumbents, but they were only a 7" triangle. Now with the Jogalite 10" triangle the visibility to motorists is much better. What I've done now with my recumbent tadpole trikes is incorporate the 10" triangle centered on the rear of the trike and the older 7" triangles now will have a new home on the left side handlebar bag setup by the seat, which creates an illusion of a greater width to oncoming traffic. When coupled with several rear flashing lights and flags, it should promote more awareness for motorists.

Of course I had to tinker with it a little. First I removed the belt which apparently was intended for mounting on a cyclist or jogger's slow-moving butt, then I added grommets to each of the three corners. Now it's mounted securely to the trike and doesn't flop around a bit. Perhaps the vendor would be willing to supply it that way for those of us who want to mount it on our wheels, rather than on ourselves?

I bought this triangle for my solo rides when it's too warm to wear my screaming yellow vest. This triangle, though worn with an uncomfortable webbed strap, guarantees that you will be seen by traffic approaching from the rear. Here are some suggestions for improvement: Instead of sewing the strap on, why not have a tunnel "belt loop" on either side of the top angle, with grommets on each side and point. That way, you could use the strap ( which could be elastic:)) or safety pin the triangle directly to your jersey, pannier, etc. I used my triangle today on an LA metro area ride (about 40 miles) with traffic. I felt a lot safer because of its presence on my back!

This triangle durable and very reflective/visible.
I only wish the edges of the triangle itself were a bit stiffer... (extra material, underwire, etc.) as depending on where/how it is placed, the top of the triangle sometimes partially folds over -- losing visibility of that part. So I'm considering options to provide some stiffening...

Great product: highly-visible on the road (and I love the logo).
I would change one thing in design though. The belt is permanently affixed. I would put two loops on the triangle instead, and thread belt through, so the belt can be detached, if desired. If, for example, I wanted to fasten it to the back pocket of my backpack, back of a panier, or another piece of hardware, I'd prefer to do it with safety pins or similar fasteners, and not necessarily with the belt (which can reposition itself).
Another point: It would be nice to have triangles available in three different sizes, the one I have being the medium size.

I purchased the safety triangle for use during a tour around Washington state, and was extremely pleased with the increased visibility it afforded, especially on the days I was forced to don a jacket over my high-visibility jersey. As I met other tourists along the Northern Tier route, it became obvious how easy it is for a cyclist to blend in, even with seemingly garish attire. For its size, the safety triangle is likely the best possible way to increase visibility during daytime riding.
I had no trouble using the integrated strap to securely attach the triangle to the back of my rack (on a Surly Big Dummy -- XtraCycle-compatible), though it looks as though it is primarily meant to go around the cyclist's waist. On a more traditional touring bicycle, I would probably try to attach it directly to a pannier or stuff sack, in order to make it easy to deal with on a daily basis.
